Showcase
Model and Talent Corporation was established in 1983 in North
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina by Marsha McCollum with the primary
focus on print and runway. As the area grew, Showcase expanded.
By 1988, models were being placed in national markets such as
New York and Atlanta. By 1990, models were being placed in some
of the international markets such as Japan, China, Germany and
Austria. By 1995, a talent division was added. Since that time,
many Showcase clients have appeared in numerous commercials (both
national and regional), films, television, and theatre
productions. Showcase Talent, Incorporated models have graced the covers
of such publications as European Harper's Bazaar and have assisted
in advertising campaigns for companies such as Adidas and Young
Edwardian. Showcase has won numerous awards through the years
at modeling conventions including "Agency of the Year," "Best
Overall Child Model," "Overall Talent Winner," Overall Runway
Winners and Overall Swimsuit Winners. Showcase Talent is proving
to be one of the South's most progressive and innovative agencies.
